A Cruise on the SS Paris c.1932
This lovely short film (presented by Gare Maritime : www.garemaritime.com) shows a family or group of friends departing from New York City on the French Line's SS Paris. The film begins at the New York docks and their is a brief view of the RMS Olympic (sister ship of the ill-ffated RMS Titanic) at her berth. The film includes views of the passenger and crew on deck and some great views of the liner herself. The SS Paris burned and capsized at her berth in Le Havre in 1939.
