This film (presented by Gare Maritime: www.garemaritime.com) shows a family preparing to leave Liverpool for Canada aboard an ocean liner sometime in the 1930s. The film includes shots of the family aboard ship, the Liverpool landing stage and the "Three Graces" including the Liver building. Mersey ferries and the chimmneys or Birkenhead and Wallasey are also shown. The film ends with the family playing deck games including shuffleboard and quoits.
