Photos taken from different sources and from different heavenly bodies. I don't think star formation occurs at the event horizon of a black hole as this narrator states.
... so then why don't we see this happening in other Galaxies? Not an astrophysicist obviously, but what's so special about our galaxy for this to be happening?

The event described here is about 10 million years into the future. The violence would be confined to the central region of the galaxy, but the light show would be visible from very, very far away. It's based on research by Antony Stark from Harvard University. Animation by Trent Schindler from the U.S. National Science Foundation. Stay tuned... more clips like this are on the way.

thanx uploader :), keep up the good work;)
Well Done!
where do we come from? why am i here?
I know only a bit about astro-physics and I was able to appreciate this as well. It's very well done and the graphics really "take you there."
Not bad , espiecally if you have some background knowledge in astro- physics
