ReportNée Yolanda Gigliotti en Egypte en 1933, Dalida a mené une longue carrière internationale de chanteuse et d'actrice. De ses succès discographiques l'on retiendra «Bambino», «Gigi», «Besame mucho», «Paroles, Paroles» (avec Alain Delon) et plus tard dans sa période disco «J'attendrai», «Monday Tuesday», «Gigi in Paradisco», etc. Au cinéma, son rôle dans «Le Sixième Jour» de Youssef Chahine, en 1986, fut salué par la critique. Aujourd'hui, Dalida est toujours vivante grâce à son frère Orlando. La mairie de Paris rend actuellement hommage à la chanteuse à travers une exposition, «Dalida, une vie», qui, jusqu'au 8 septembre 2007 présente des archives personnelles de la star.
