'Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning is a 2005 motion picture produced by five friends in a two-room flat with a small budget and the support of a few hundred fans and dozens of acquaintances. Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning is the seventh production in the Star Wreck movie series, the first of professional quality and feature length. It is a dark science fiction comedy about domination of the world and the universe, and a parody of the Star Trek and Babylon 5 universes.' This is the CC-licensed XDiv version with English subtitles (103 minutes).

....that such a good film could be produced on such low budget and (presumably) low technology. Kind of makes you wonder why Hollywood films can suck so bad. And frankly I wonder why the numeric ratings are not that great.
Why can't all fan films have such great writing and acting? Hell the special effects were nearly feature film level. I don't know how they did this but everyone making fan films need to look at what they did and try like hell to copy it.
Subtitled but worth every second, sublime humour, clever use of special effects, witty acting. This short movie is a credit to what can be done with bugger all, take your shoes off to these guys!

it s super parody
Not bad but a bit long. Should have polite and given thanks to the creators of Star Trek at the end for such an obvious bite!
