Pussycat Dolls - Stickwitu (Hi-Res)
"Stickwitu" is the second single from the Pussycat Dolls' debut album, PCD. The title is a colloquialism for "stick with you".
The ballad, expressing loyalty in a relationship, was a success in the U.S. and it debuted at number one in the U.K., making it their second consecutive number one single there. The single peaked at number two in Australian charts. The single entered the Billboard Hot 100 Singles Chart at 85, and nine weeks later was fifth in the chart, where it peaked.
The video, directed by Nigel Dick, begins with the group at a hotel being awoken by someone knocking on the door. The Pussycat Dolls begin to pack their belongings, then walk to their tour bus, stopping to sign autographs for fans on the way.
The video continues to show footage of the girls on the bus, in dance rehearsals and practicing the song "Stickwitu". The video ends with group coming out of a back entrance of a building posing for some pictures. Throughout the video, the members of PCD, and in particular Nicole Scherzinger, are seen talking on Nokia mobile phones, presumably to their partners.
This song gave the Dolls a Grammy Nomination at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards.
