Felix The Cat: The Goose That Laid the Golden Egg
The most popular animated character of the '20s, Felix the Cat was created by Australian cartoonist Pat Sullivan, and appeared in more than a hundred shorts during the silent era. In 1936, Felix returned at RKO Radio in three of Burt Gillett's Rainbow Parade Cartoons (one of which, Bold King Cole, was co-directed by longtime Felix veteran Otto Messmer).
