Shillong Revival
Revival is when God visits a community and starts making Himself known. Over 100 years ago in Scotland their was a revival that started in Pilrig school in Leith. One girl who was the worst behaved in the class broke down in tears in the middle of one of her lessons. The teacher asked her what was wrong and she explained it was her sins and started openly confessing them.
Soon the whole class was in tears doing the same. This move spread from class to class until the whole school had to be closed because all the children were mourning their sins. This move spread from children to their parents until tens of thousands were turning to Christ in Leith and Edinburgh.
This video documents how God is moving in the same way in Shillong, India (also known as “the Scotland of the east”). The video shows children having trances where they experience visions of heaven, when they turn up to school. Classrooms are emptied as children break down in tears over their sins and have to be sent home. Head teachers are very angry, banning kids who look like they might cry from coming to school to try to stop whole classes being affected. Children as young as six are being used powerfully in prophecy and healing miracles.
Rather than parents indoctrinating children with Christianity it is Children who are weeping over their parent’s sins and for them to know Christ. The video also features footage taken from deliverance ministry, as unclean spirits at work in peoples live are driven to the surface in the presence of God’s Holy Spirit. The film starts with 10 minutes of worship from the children before the documentary begins.
