Three young German dudes live out the American Dream fantasy by filming a road trip movie along the fabled Route 66 highway, AKA I-40, in a vintage low rider red Cadillac convertable. Twelve days from the East Coast of the USA to San Diego, California. Audio levels jump a little bit up and down, and the footage is a mixed bag as well. But the immediacy of the forward moving road trip's spontaneity and the rush of travel excitement comes through. In one scene the silly boys are so happy to be in a motel room, they cavort around the room and the video turns psychedelic.
The three young Werner Herzogs are happy to be traveling through America, and so their joy is infectious, and they perceive Americans to be "more cheerful than other people."
There else to say beside quality isn't HD as advertised....
