It's a bird! It's a plane! It's...Superman!" With those words, the legendary comic-book hero, created by Jerry Siegal and Joe Shuster, flew onto the screen. Voiced by Bud Collyer, Superman appeared in seventeen original cartoon classics created by Fleischer Studios from 1941 to 1943, starting with Superman (aka The Mad Scientist).
