it have taken so long time to make this movie because matt groenig was not sure what effect it might have on the show. maybe it would caues people to stop watching the show.

But i always fear that when something as great as the simpsons makes a film, its showing that the show is nearing the end of its life. And i don't want that.
I have been watching The Simpson's since I was like 5, and I still can't believe how many jokes they can cram into a 22 minute episode. I am so excited to see what they do with a movie. I'm still surprised that they waited this long to make one, I mean, how many years have they been on air? 18? This long in the making, I bet it's going to be great.
