ReportThese are the adventures of the Monkey King, Sun Wukong, and the monk Tang Sanzhang as they take their pilgrimage through ancient China to retrieve the sacred Buddhist Sutra. On this odyssey, they are accompanied by a motley crew of characters: a pig who was once a general, a dragon prince who has been reincarnated as a horse, and a magical sea serpent. Every episode, Wukong travels to a new land and encounters a new civilization. Being a monk, Sanzhang aims to help all the people he meets but unwittingly gets the group in over their heads. Wukong must use his cunning wit and unbeatable martial prowess to fish them out of trouble.
