The Real Info: Turtlebros ( 7 months ago on Jan 4, 2008 07:07 GMT); Its not becouse its an otis elevator nor what hes forgeting to mention... if u look at the pannel the service key switch is turn on... and yes almost all evevators do it... just not under 1985 control panels.. thats out of date.. anyways if u have the keys, which i have 7 pounds of keys "for elevators". then you can do it.. if not...

old OTIS trick...: Trevor ( 8 months ago on Dec 21, 2007 01:35 GMT); this is an old trick that works on OTIS elevators. They gusy says that it works on "almost all elevators", but that's because a majority of elevators are made by OTIS elevator company. You can look for the OTIS name on the elevator somewhere inside.
